ABOUT HER CARRER
Jang Wonyoung was announced as one of the contestants on MNET's survival show Produce 48 in 2018. She managed to be a part of the project group that came out of the show, IZONE, ranking #1 with 338,366 votes and being the center of the group.
IZONE debuted on October 29, 2018 with the mini album "COLOR*IZ" and debuted in Japan on February 6 with the single "I Want To Say I Like You".
In early September 2019, Wonyoung was chosen to walk the runway at the 29th Tokyo Girls Collection 2019 Autumn/Winter held at Saitama Super Arena, marking her runway debut. She Reappeared, in the same year, on the catwalk of the 29th Tokyo Girls 2019 Fall/Winter Collection held in Kitakyushu
After IZONE disbanded on April 29, 2021, Wonyoung returned to being a trainee at Starship Entertainment.
On September 27, 2021, Wonyoung along with Enhypen's Sunghoon were announced as the new MCs of music Bank, they will start their MC period on October 8.
IVE debuted on December 1, 2021 with the single "ELEVEN"
